Marking Steel
Major Steel Manufacturers require a high temperature metal marking paint to coat glowing slabs of metal for identification purposes. This paint and coating will withstand high temperatures and exterior weathering. This coating is applied to a hot surface and is also water based.
Thurmalox 2900 White Marking / Identification Paint is used in metal plants and steel plants. This unique non flammable formula is used for production line coding and identification of hot metals. This paint is used in automatic marking equipment which cures rapidly upon application to hot surfaces forming a hard, insoluble, chemically bonded and highly visible white coating. This coating is designed to give a mark at ambient and high temperatures.
This paint/coating is used on slabs, ingots, bars, billets, blooms, coils, pipes and rods.
